Everyone loves beach holidays, the feeling of sitting on a sandy beach with the sun beaming down on you is one that we crave each year. There is something so relaxing about lounging around on the beach, work and the stresses of home instantly disappear. There is something for everyone on beaches, you can find beaches that are quiet and peaceful, then there are the beaches for those of us that like some fun and activity. You can find all sorts of activities on beaches, water skiing, wind surfing, jest skiing, banana boats and many more, these activities really can make a holiday truly fantastic. So, we know that we all love the beach but where are the best beaches in the world? I have been fortunate, or lazy enough, to lounge on some of the world’s best beaches. I’ve listed my top 5 below, let me know what you think, what beaches have visited that you think should make the top 3 list? I’m keen to hear your answers, we all have are own opinions of let’s get sharing. Here are my top 3 beaches.
Palawan, The Philippines
Palawan is an island in the Philippines, I recommend any beach that you find on Palawan. it is such a beautiful place, anywhere that you can find a sandy shore is perfect to spend the day. In my opinion Palawan is the hidden gem of South East Asia. I have been lucky enough to go here twice and I will certainly be back for more one day! You will find whir sandy beaches on Palawan, as well as rain forest and beautiful rocky coves. A trip here is a must if you are a beach lover.
Mui Ne, Vietnam
Mui Ne has it all, beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, some of the best seafood you will ever eat and countless water sport activities for you to try. The coastline is massive and has lots of resorts dotted along it. The best thing about the beaches here are that you can easily decide to stay away from all the activities and chill out, you will not be disturbed by all the adrenaline junkie’s noise at all. On the hotter hand you’re only a five minute walk from all of the activities, so you get the best of both worlds. My favourite moment here was having a massage on the beach with nothing else to look at but the beautiful ocean.
Koh Samed, Thailand
Whenever I need to get out of Bangkok for some relaxation and peace and quiet, I head to the island of Koh Samed. It is only 3 hours from Bangkok to the closest town and then a thirty minute ferry ride. The island is so quiet and so peaceful it is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The beaches are beautiful, there are so many for you to choose from. If you are lucky enough to stay in one of the five star resorts then you will have a private beach to relax on. At night you can either party the night away or sit in a beautiful beach side restaurant, heaven!
